“Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.  Sing and make music in your heart to the LORD, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ.”  Ephesians 5:19-20

Jesus tells us, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment." Matthew 22:37-38  We can and should worship God in everything we do.  Worship is not confined to Sunday mornings or to song and prayer.  Paul writes, "Celebrated God all day, every day.  I mean revel in Him!"  Philippians 4:4

Beyond celebrating God individually, we come together to worship.  As we celebrate together we are guided by Ephesians 5:19-20, "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.  Sing and make music in your heart to the LORD, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

We believe worship can take many styles; there is no single correct way to worship God.  Our 9:30 am worship is a contemporary style worship.  As the body grows, we may introduce different styles of worship.  However any worship at Christ Community will:
  • Be a celebration of God's love
  • Be a celebration of God's forgiveness
  • Be a time of thanksgiving and adoration
  • Be a time of prayer
  • Be a time to share the gospel, its meaning in our lives, and allow the Spirit to speak understanding in our hearts.

Worship Times:
Sundays at 9:30 am

March 14th Topic:  The Sacrificial Life (The Practice of Giving) - Life Morphing Part 6
Message Text:  Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  2 Corinthians 9:7

About:  As with all disciplines it takes intentional effort to live a sacrificial, because without effort giving will not happen.  For most of us it is not a natural part of human nature, especially giving of our monetary blessings.  Scripture speaks of our giving as a demonstration of our love for God and for others.  God has blessed us abundantly and for that we give heartfelt thanks.

Love the Lord your God with ALLYOUR HEART, ALL YOUR SOUL, ALL YOUR MIND, and ALL TOUR STRENGTH
