Adult Education is aimed at moving all adult members of the body towards Christian maturity, whether they are a new believer or a life-long believer.  Ephesians 4:12-15 states, "Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ, until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's son that we will be mature and full grown in the the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ."  Jesus tells us, "My purpose is to give life in all its fullness."

In order to facilitate the process of maturity and help individuals discover life in all its fullness, we offer for levels of Life classes.  These levels can be illustrated by a baseball diamond (developed by Rev. Rick Warren of Saddleback Community Church) and collectively are called Life's Bases.  As people move from one base (class) to the next they are, Running Life's Bases and growing in Christian Maturity.

The Life's Bases classes are:
  • A Life in Christ  - an introductory class to our beliefs on topics such as relationship v. religion, who is God, creation, Baptism, etcetera.

  • Life Morphing - this class helps people develop the tools necessary to grow in Christian maturity.  Just like you need an exercise plan to get healthy, this is the plan to get spiritually healthy.  Topics include the practice of celebration, the practice of hearing God, the practice of prayer, etcetera.

  • Gifted for Life - helps people identify how God has gifted them to serve (their spiritual gifts), how their personality affects how they should serve, how their ministry passion affects where they should serve, and puts it all together to help people find where they can best serve.

  • Sharing Life - helps people learn how they can effectively share their faith and reach out to those who do not yet know Christ.

We also offer topical classes (marriage, raising children, finances, etcetera), classes that provide more info on one of the topics covered in a Life Bases class (example, prayer), and in-depth Bible studies.
